Good guys and bad guys

Alright, so I've been itching to write another one-shot for d20 modern, and I've finally decided to give in to the urge. I don't know exactly when, but I'll air it some time over the summer.
Just some background info. I promise that this time I'll actually finish writing the adventure. It should be better all the way around because I have a lot more experience this time than I have in the past. It'll be set in modern time, in a city (probably just in a generic opolisville, but maybe in an actual city) and it'll probably have the feeling of a drama or noir movie. I'm going to stick pretty strictly to a serious feel, which means no zombie, no hundred and ten year old janitors running around shouting in Zulu, and generally not that much tongue in cheek material.
I've got a good idea of what the general plot is going to be, but before I say anything, I want you all to answer me a very basic, albeit a very crucial question; would you rather play as bad guys or good guys?
